Capture life 365–week 9

Sweet Lily turned eight this week! The girls managed to talk me into doing a ‘proper’ birthday party for her – citing in her defence several completely non event past birthdays that I had to admit had been kind of sucky. So, to redeem past errors celebrate her day, bunting was brought out, plates dusted off, fancy hairpieces made, cupcakes baked, sandwiches prepared, games organised, flowers picked, chocolate brownie cake made to request and girlfriends invited… and a most lovely tea party was had, minus the tea!

Shopping by cellphone light at the supermarket during a power outage. Must’ve run out of fuel for the generator!No shortage of natural light here – buy fresh produce and get a free suntan! Carrots, onions, cabbage, avocado, pineapple, passionfruit, watermelon, capsicum and sweet potato this week!
