I'm so happy, so very happy!
After flying or being in airports for 38 hours, we were greeted by the most sweetest, enthusiastic voices ever. The kids at Jordan House (Operation Ugandas childrens home) had been waiting all afternoon for us to arrive and put on their concert - sadly because of delays we didn't get there til about 8pm so the concert had to be cut short, but as our taxi & the van carrying a team of 5 girls from Oz drove in through the gates we were surrounded by beautiful children singing "I'm so blessed". The emotions we felt are too hard to put into words. 60 children loving on us & asking us how we were. We were the ones who felt blessed.

After all having a good nights sleep, we headed back out to Jordan House today to help with a makeover of the girls & boys sleeping areas - pics of that to come when it's finished! Josiah & Josh got stuck in painting & hunting for lizards! Josiah found a mouse which ended up in my hair, so now he REALLY has to watch his back, cos I owe him BIGTIME!! The kids all love playing with the boys & the boys had a great time though I think they'll be sleeping well tonight!
We experienced our first Ugandan rainstorm & traffic jam - think of the two I prefer the rainstorm! We took a 'rainbreak' as it was too wet to do much more painting & we went into the hall to learn the drums & dance with the kids - these kids have got rythm & they've got moves - seriously!
I know I haven't said much about what Ugandas actually like - that'll have to be another post, it'll be another big day tomorrow & my eyes are starting to blur!
