Carrier of the blessing

Sitting in a plane at Ethiopia soaking in the fact that we're actually in a third world country & feeling unbelievably thankful that God provided for us to be doing this. That's when it hit me. It's not about us. It never was. We've been blessed - yes, but God providing for us to come here has nothing to do with him wanting to bless us - it has everything to do with him providing a way for people living in despair to find hope and hear the 'blessing' that is the gospel - not just in word, but in action. So now we've become carriers, carriers of hope, carriers of the blessing.
