I’m sure we can count learning to use an arc welder to make a gate as a metalwork elective for Drew!
Sometimes you just have to go with whatever ‘alone time’ you can get. This week it was the drive to and from Kampala to get an MRI.Nothing more romantic than your husband getting to see all your insides! Apparently my butt looks quite muscly – awesome!! While we were enjoying our date day, the kids were at home joining some of our staff in learning how to make soap so they can teach others how to make it as an income generating activity. I’m sure that could probably be counted as some kind of school elective as well!We found this (non poisonous) blind snake slithering across our driveway – a bit like a huge worm really. Provided an hour or so of entertainment trying to get it to do tricks!Hanging out with these awesome kiddo’s is always fun!Charlotte was in farmgirl heaven after finding some donkeys on a Saturday outing to try out a new motorbike track a few hours away! After her goat, she now wants to get a donkey!
I’ve seen swarms of bee’s and wasps before, but never inside my house. In the middle of the night. Hundreds of them the first night – enough for the drone to wake Riana up and get us to investigate! Pretty weird – 3 nights in a row they decided to visit – still not sure how they’re getting in. Thankful to have insect spray on hand to deal with the situation!
