Better late than never! Craaazy busy week, but did manage to capture parts of it that didn’t look like meetings or admin!
Having to use lanterns at 10 in the morning to do school work is just ridiculous – synchronised storms & power outages are NOT funny. I might have even slipped a bad word, yes I know, shocking!
Enlisting free labour providing the kids with valuable work experience as Pete gets some fencing finished.
The fourth of our offspring to open the magical door to teenage-hood. The memories of lugging baby capsules around, toilet training toddlers and watching first soccer games are way too fresh for this boy to be 13 already. I love seeing my kids grow up, but does it have to happen so quickly!! Yes, that was the best cake & candle shot I got…
Decorating for the Imuka Kids early learning program to start next week!
Uganda MX race day for Josiah! Waiting out a thunderstorm at 7:30AM – trying my best to see the glass half full…!So glad the weather cleared, leaving a nice muddy track – let the racing begin!Meanwhile… I found Drew in his hap-pay, hap-pay, hap-pay place, leading his little posse’ on a field trip along the lake shore - someone please give him a TV show! (he did first ask if he could walk in the lake then be treated for bilharzia in 6 weeks time – oh how life is different here!) From sunrise to sunset - a long but good day – Joe’s making some great memories racing with the Ugandan team.
