Christmas came and went - all in one day, which leaves the kids a bit mystified as to how the wait is so long, and when it comes , the day seems so short! However the Christmas aftermath remains - the fridge is chocka with delicious edibles, the van is full of empty packaging to go to the recycling station and the kids are delighted and busy with new toys. J (10)'s been busily checking all the empty grape juice bottles and managed to get over 1 glass!
Christmas started the night before with carols at the christmas eve service - Nan who forgot her hearing aid causing a few heads to turn as she not so quietly explained to Riana throughout the service how she got her rings and other bits of interesting info! The Christmas light trail followed, then a very late night before the first noises of Christmas morning at 5:30. A great day was had with fantastic family, gorgeous friends - (thanks Woody for making sure Santa didn't forget us- Charlotte was telling me he was real!), and Aliesha & Josh for making a dent in our candy cane stash!) and delicious food. Ho, ho, ho
