I know, I know...

I know I’ve been a blog slacker the last couple of weeks. Smack on the hand for me. Sometimes it just seems quite an effort to post something. I still have a tonne of blog-worthy things happening begging to be written about, but tiredness takes over, power cuts are often long and frequent, and as more time passes without writing I just don’t know where to start with catching up! Excuses, excuses I know – but facts are facts! To add to the blogging challenge, my laptop suddenly just started shutting down on me whenever it felt like it, rather rude really – not even asking me if I wanted to save what I was working on first. Sometimes it would stay on for 15 minutes at a time, other times only 2. It finally came up with a message saying it was overheating, I‘d wondered about the burning on my legs whenever I used it. Pete found somewhere to get all the dust cleaned out – apparently enough to stuff a small pillow, and it now looks brand spanking new and doesn’t shut down on me. Only problem is it now doesn’t turn on unless it’s plugged in. Seems the cleaning killed the battery. I think my computers turned on me.

Anyway, I’m going to try to do some catch up posts on our happenings … sometime soon. Until then, I’ll leave you with this – I think Ann Voskamp somehow got inside my head when she wrote this:
