12 years on!

This time 12 years ago today I would’ve been having cuddles with a most gorgeous baby boy who chose to enter the world a little differently to most, (with his head sideways and his fist firmly attached to it!) and who ever since has not been afraid to do things the way he feels is right, no matter what others think! Just one of the many things I love about him! While he was still growing in my belly, Dianne Bowater gave me this word for him, which sooooo describes the Drew we know and love…



“Fear not, this child will be different, compared with others, really different. I’ve made this one to be different. I have sealed my anointing on this one. Will be completely different to Josiah (our only other child at that stage) Will behave and develop in different ways. You will say why so different. Fear not. I have placed a different anointing on this one, to reach a different people. An anointing for a different generation. Will be born, act and speak differently. At times will be misunderstood. As a mother you will need to be particularly sensitive and have to input differently. I have called this one to be a mouthpiece to a different generation. Will be strong and powerful, radical and wild. Will be so different, but it is God. God knows He can trust you and Pete with this child. Rest in me and dedicate this child like Hannah did.” Don’t you just love it when God speaks like that?! He knew I needed to know that. Funny how He knows just what I need to know – how He tells us stuff on a need to know basis!



Now while I enjoy a piece of Drews most delicious birthday carrot cake (his request, just happens to be my favourite also!) you can enjoy some pics of a most delicious boy – don’t tell him I called him delicious though!

and a hard worker.
